Does anyone knows there is snowfall in South India

Andhra Pradesh only village where snowfall happens. Village name is Lambasingi. It is on the hight of 1025 metre altitude. Last recorded rainfall happened in 2012. That was surprise for me as well. Never new that.

That is stone falling mate with hard crusting but snow is very soft during falling. We had stone falling in Varanasi also few years back, people claimed the same but I know the reality being native. Being below extreme northern fenomina, it is rare to have snowfall in central or southern states.

It was actually made popular recently. AP government is also setting up hotels/resorts close to forest areas similar to what Karnataka has done.
