I think every Pakistani has used a rickshaw once in their lifetime, be it a quick trip to the market or a ride to school. The multi-colored vehicle, that has been contributing to noise pollution for ages, is about to get a serious makeover.
The conventional Pakistani rickshaws are all set to be replaced by a newer, better version. Manufactured by a Lahore-based company Ascend Engineering, the new design is much more sleek and neat. The silver and oval-shaped design is basically a part of a marketing campaign designed for Ufone by a Karachi agency called Brand Activate. As the name suggests, Brand Activate helps companies re-activate their popularity by designing marketing campaigns for them.
The campaign is yet to be officially launched but here are some of the few pictures that have been released. Looking at them we can say for sure we definitely won’t be missing those old rickshaws. Let us know in the comments what you think!

Heh, heh, I won't be surprised when someone launches a WiFi khota rehri too.

On a more serious note, I like the idea of a modernized rickshaw but it has to be cost-effective.
It may work very well in metropolitan areas like Karachi and Lahore, and most of the students would love it. This is a good initiative if it is taken by a big company like Ufone.

I concur with the rest!:enjoy:

Not going to lie, this is interesting idea indeed!

ok fine you have WiFi in those Rickshaw, but how would you be able to type anything if your both hands are clutching on the rod to hold yourself in the seat.

Saw this rickshaw everyday @ Satellite town while traveling to Islamabad from IJP. These rickshaws are damn large in size almost equal to Suzuki Alto size.
