Diabetes Drugs Could Cure Cancer

Drugs for type 2 diabetes have the potential to become effective therapies for certain types of cancers. Tumor cells have increased energy needs, and starving them of their natural energy sources, impairing their ability to generate energy from glucose, or altering their metabolics, could successfully stop cancer cells from growing. The key will be to determine which tumor types are most sensitive to metabolic and energy imbalances.

Have a Close friend of mine that has late stage 4 colon cancer and all treatments have been used but don't seem to help he has 6-8 months to live , This for the hope that we may find a cure soon so future generations don't suffer the same way.

Friend it's false hope, you have to have some knowledge on medicine and cancer to understand why diabetes medicine isn't a cure for cancer.

I'm all for keeping hope alive but not illusions.
