Defence analyst Pierre Sprey on the F-35

Old video from 2012. But Pierre said that F 35 is a Turkey. He provides lots of technical reasons why it is not a great aircraft.

After listening to him, I am wondering what is the fuss about F 22 and F 35.
He said that the mission of the aeroplane is to spend money.

Another video on the effectiveness of F 35. This time a debate/talk between Mr Sprey and a Lt. Col (Ret) David , Pilot from Marines.

A good debate. It is very clear that the Marine is talking with the fervour of a combatant proud of his heritage. While the old and sensible Sprey is drawing on his experience and knowledge of what was happening at the time (2017) in the testing phases of F 35.

You see the guys from the manufacturer or some higher up in the military would always be defending it, because they have made the decision , despite F 35 being very expensive.
