After being here for as long as I have been here I have noticed that most people here don't know how to debate or don't know how to reply to a debate.
Here is a friendly picture of the many debate fallicies there are.
I urge everyone to read them to be educated in how not to fall into them or how to call them out when others use them.

For example, one of the most common fallacy people make is the "tu quoque" fallacy where someone makes a point, and instead of addressing the point the responder simply points at something that the first person did/believes/is a part of etc.
I highly urge people to read these fallacies and do their best to either avoid them or call other people out for them. I think that will help in the dialogue on this forum.
