KARACHI: Mehdi Hasan was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night after he had trouble breathing.
He was admitted to the intensive care unit at a private hospital. The doctors said that the 84-year-old ghazal singer had chest and urinary infections. Hasan was born into a family of traditional musicians at Luna village, India, in 1927. His family migrated to Pakistan after 1947.
