Chappell and Botham clash in Adelaide car park

Sir Ian Botham had to be pulled apart from former Australia captain Ian Chappell after a furious row at the end of the fourth day's play.
The pair have not spoken for more than three decades, despite working in close proximity in cricket commentary booths around the world, following a fight in a Melbourne bar in 1977.
The latest incident happened in the car park of the ground when Chappell muttered something under his breath as he walked past Botham.
A source at Australian TV's Channel 9, which Chappell works for, said: ”They went for each other all right and it could have got very nasty if there hadn't been people on hand to keep them apart. They reacted quickly because we all know the history between these two. They might be aged 55 and 67 but neither of them are the type to give an inch in the face of conflict.”
