Country Pushed 50 Years Back In 5 Years, Says Nawaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that the democratic government has pushed the country 50 years back in its five years of tenure.

Talking to media after meeting with Lashkari Raisani here on Tuesday, he said the situation facing all of us today is the crop sown by dictators.

He said the masses had given mandate of protection of life and property to the government, but it failed to fulfill its responsibility and today, it had no writ as people were being killed on daily basis in Karachi.

Nawaz Sharif alleged that few political parties have militant wing in Karachi, and arms licenses to such groups were issued by the Sindh government.

Speaking on this occasion, Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani announced joining PML N.

He said the country was in crisis owing to worsening Balochistan situation, and the only way out of the present situation was true democratic system.
