After reading and rereading Pacific wars, I'm thinking, the death blow to the Japanese may not be the Chinese victories but the Chinese defeats.

Japan was killing Chinese soldiers almost at will, one battalion had more artillery support than an entire army did during the war, and armour as well as air support, and most time just the presence of training, food, and even weapons.

The Japanese charged like crazy and the Chinese soldiers can't do anything. The Japanese has more machine guns per regiment than maybe an entire Chinese army.

Then came the Americans, armed to the teeth, in the Guadalcanal campaign, the Americans were cut off, but still more supplied than any Chinese army. The Japanese once again charged, well, if you look, the Americans pretty much massacred the Japanese. The number of casualties would have been much much less for the Americans if they had their usual air and artillery support.

So the Japanese strategy for the Chinese whom they fought for 10+ years at that point pretty much sealed the fate of the Japanese due to their tactics.

Now the Americans today, fighting Muslim countries, their tactics are very small scale in terms of the way war is conducted, not the major WW2 operations, then again that would be insane and stupid to do such warfare against an "enemy" such as the Iraqis.

Generation Kill and such shows and a few articles pointed out American's push, and if the Iraqis had been armed like the Chinese and trained to shoot straight like the Chinese the Americans would have taken heavy casualties and maybe pushed back.

Now in no way am I saying Chinese army is technically superior or more experienced, but could that experience work against the Americans in the beginning at least and may spell an early end to a conflict as to not give time for Americans to adjust.

Again, this is just an observation, and I am very open to debate on this topic, not the view of the PLA, as some members like to say for whatever Chinese members are saying.

This topic is also not targeted at Americans, but just my theory in general, however if you would like to add to those I be happy to listen.
