Continuity of Government Question (India)

I was watching Designated Survivor, a show about a US Secretary that becomes President after the President and Congress is wiped out after a terrorist attack. My question is, if New Delhi was nuked or some other terrorist incident happened and the Central civilian government was destroyed, what would happen? Is there a mechanism trigger to establish a fallback capital in say Bombay? Does power transfer to the military? If so which command?


This issues seem very important given our turbulent neighbourhood.
