Construction works in Beskydy tunnel in Carpathian mountains

The Beskydy Railway Tunnel is located in the Ukrainian Carpathians on the Beskydy pass. It is part of the Fifth Pan-European Transport Corridor (Italy - Slovenia - Hungary - Slovakia - Ukraine - Russia). It is expected that the first train will depart on a new tunnel in the second quarter of 2018.
