Close encounter between two jihadists and French Foreign Legionnaires

. .
Anyone else puzzled by the soldier's inability to hit a target at that distance? Especially considering that they are running straight away super slowly.

In case you've read the subtitles as you can't understand French, the soldier is making warning shots. See the soldier's trajectory of fire at 1:37 once one of the jihadist turns back and we clearly see he's going to fire at the soldiers. (The one on the left) The scene was cut at that moment.

The French are not there fighting "Terrorists"... They are there fighting tax evaders..

France/Afrique : 14 African Countries Forced by France to Pay Colonial Tax For the Benefits of Slavery and Colonization

Did you know many African countries continue to pay colonial tax to France since their independence till today!

Nah, he is definitely aiming for them. Incompetent soldier, nothing else.

Look again at 1:36-37. I have nothing more to add,you believe what you want to believe. The moment those two guys turned their weapons against French soldiers, they were immediately down.

And who are "most military analysts" ? Nobodies like you who just speak with your hate of anything French ? Lol.

Those guys looked unarmed. Disnt see any weapons on them.

From the picture shots taken they are clearly holding something in their hands that look like weapons and you can see them aiming at French soldeirs with them. At this rate, that's just denial. If they had nothing on them or didn't do anything wrong,I guess they wouldn't feel the need to flee.

And wth are French doing in Africa eh?

They are there at the request of the African governments of the region. If those countries were able to protect their national integrity alone, they wouldn't need to ask assistance from France.

Bro, they are attention-drama queens....sitting in front of keyboard. 99% of them have never handled a firearm I can guarantee you....forget about the things on top for being military+deployed.

So it always turns this way on certain topics.

I find it best to ignore the worst (lost cause) ones altogether, but you are also correct to give response selectively since others could be reading too. It is your choice.

=============

Thank you for this video and tagging. The video is interesting in a "real" unexpected way, there was a jam on the main vehicle MG (not rare in this kind of area), and he had to switch to his service rifle quickly with adrenalin rushing in. This is where the training and experience kicks in. Can also notice the service pistol later too.

This is all very important for this desert+hot+remote area, to have multiple modes and layers equipped but not overdoing it too.
