Christians To Observe Good Friday Today

Christendom, including Pakistan, will be observing Good Friday today (April 6) to recall the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The day will be marked by solemn services and sermons recalling the pain suffered by Christ on the cross. In Pakistan all churches will be having a three hours worship service which will be marked by readings from the Holy Bible, sermons, and hymns (sacred songs) All the 108 churches in the city are likely to draw large numbers of worshippers given the pivotal importance of the day in the Christian calendar.
