China to continue supporting Pakistan to sustain economy, stability


BEIJING, July 12 (APP): China said on Tuesday that Pakistan was an important country in the region and its stability as well as development was closely connected with peace and stability in South Asia.

Foreign ministry spokesman Hong Lei at a regular press briefing in response to a question said that China as a close friend and neighbour to Pakistan had always provided assistance to its capacity.
He said that assisting Pakistan would help sustain its economy and stability.
