Almost two third of the Blessed month has passed and as usual, this year again, some controversies in the Ramazan transmissions were witnessed. Ramazan commenced with the debatable Sahir Lodhi’s shocking fight with a young lady while we also saw our legendary cricketing stars Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akram doing strange activities in their show.

But what was different and totally unexpected this year was that the father of controversies, “Aamir Liaquat” was seen in an entirely decent manner unlike in his previous Ramazan transmissions. Who could forget his famous stunts such as “Aam Khayega” and Tahir Shah? It seems that it wasn’t preferred by this man who wants to influence people through his religious knowledge and wants to spread religious values amongst Pakistanis, but it seems to be the hand of the previous entities he was associated with. Obviously, our Pakistani media and their cheap tactics to gain ratings is one ugly fact that no one can deny.

However, this year BOL has proved everyone wrong by playing a Ramazan transmission without undermining the sanctity of this blessed month. And Alhamdulilah, the major chunk of Pakistani audience has preferred watching decent shows rather than the ones with spiced up content. The ratings clearly prove that people of Pakistan now want to watch content that is religious and results in spiritual growth:
