Caretaker government

Can caretaker government stay for a long time like for 3 years or more? Is it possible that during caretaker government the law and order situation becomes so bad that election might get delayed? Is caretaker government able to extend zardari's tenure as the president? What will be the role of senate and parlement?

If the caretaker Govt. comes from the people of Pakistan than it is ok but unfortunately this caretaker Govt. which PML-N has proposed is filled with traitors, corrupt & enemy of the state, so they should not be care takers even for 1 micro second.

By the way new law should be introduced in Pakistan like China is having, death sentence to those who are involved in corruption, no matter who they are & there should be death penalty for the traitor, nothing less than that.

Yes, it can extend upto 3 years, powers reside with the prime minister, on adhoc basis Zardari can be re-elected as President for another 5 years through Senate only, and will be confirmed once NA is elected...

so things must happen on time... or else the exceptions of rules will take charge !
