A health centre inside the high security President's Estate in the national capital was burgled, police said on Sunday. Thieves also
struck at the residence of Rajya Sabha member from Bihar Ejaz Ali here and decamped with bathroom fittings.:chilli:

According to police, a computer and three pairs of dumb bells were stolen on Wednesday night.:lazy:

"We received a complaint on Thursday about the incident. The health centre's caretaker Tasmim Ahmed told us that due to heavy rains on Wednesday night, there was water logging inside the centre and to clear that the Central Public Works Department sent a person named Chandrashekhar," a police officer said.:angry:

The caretaker said that Chandrashekhar took the keys to the centre and then returned them when his work was over. When the caretaker came to the centre on Thursday morning, he discovered that the place had been burgled, police said.

"Ahmed discovered that the lights of medical officer Wing Commander Vikram Dutta's office were on and his computer was missing," the officer said.

Theft at Rajya Sabha MP house

Thieves also struck at the residence of Rajya Sabha member from Bihar Ejaz Ali here and decamped with bathroom fittings.

The incident took place yesterday afternoon when the personal staff of JD(U) MP noticed that the bathroom fittings like wash basin and water pipes among others were missing from the 16 D Feroz Shah Road house, police said, adding a case has been registered in this regard.

"The house is undergoing renovation and was vacant. Thieves have taken away small items. We are investigating the matter," a senior police official said.

Ali was out of Delhi when the incident occurred.
