Chinese news media is unknown for the general public, nobody watches CGTN where I live people only watch AlArabya, Aljazeera, MBC (a Saudi Channel), BBC, Russia Today etc.
MBC for example spread billboards all over the place for its upcoming shows to advertise it's channel & it was a major success.
CGTN should do the same thing, spread billboards every where to advertise their shows, if they do that then far many more people will watch it.
Chinese attitude puzzeles me with their lack of advertisment, its almost like they want to stay low key.
China has a rich culture & history & its time to use that to advertise their documentaries, to think that even a small country with no history like Qatar has much more successfull news media.
