New Delhi, March 4: Shocking but true....India has turned out to be the "third most dangerous country in the world" in terms of bomb blasts cases (per year) only next to Iraq and Pakistan! According to the latest data from the National Bomb Data Centre (NBDC), surprisingly, war-torn countries Afghanistan and violence-ridden Syria are even 'better' than India. The data reveals that India was rocked by 212 bomb blasts in 2013 while Afghanistan suffered 108 blasts last year. Bangladesh was hit by 75 blasts and Syria, that is news since four years for the uprising and has lost many innocent lives amidst an escalating violence between the embattled President Bashar-al Assad's Syrian regime and the rebels, was hit by only 36 bomb blasts. In India, the figures of total number bomb blasts was 241, that resulted in 113 deaths and 419 injuries. In 2013, 212 blasts led to 130 fatalities and 466 injuries. The TOI report mentioned that in terms of state-wise analysis, the most affected states by bomb blasts are North Eastern states (Assam and Manipur are worst affected) and Maoist-infested states (Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand) have contributed to over 80% of IED attacks. As a huge matter of concern, Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a 50% rise in bomb blasts in 2013 as compared to that in 2012. OneIndia News

There was once a report that India's "religious freedom" is only "second to post-Saddam Iraq" by some stupid missionary organization in US calling itself a 'rights group'.

I work with an international organization; we receive people from all over the world who come to India, visit different states during their stay here, enjoy different Indian cuisines, trek in the Himalayas, go to beaches, go to shops and stores and take maximum memories back with them.

Never seen them having to even look behind them once at night, except use common sense and exercise caution in general.
