Bollywood Movie ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ Trailer Has A Powerful Social Message

Bollywood funnyman Akshay Kumar recently dropped the trailer for his upcoming movie ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and the audience has gone wild. The movie addresses the much-ignored problem of open defecation in rural India.

The trailer shows the story of Keshav and Jaya who fall in love and get married.


However, Keshav’s village does not have a single toilet, which creates a massive rift in their married life.


Ultimately, Keshav fights his village’s superstitions and government’s corruption to ensure proper sanitation for all.


Toilet: Ek Prem Katha also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher and Sana Khan. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the movies is all set to release on August 11, 2017.
