BJP Bought Land Worth Crores Before Announcing Demonetisation: Re

Modi-AmitShah-768x512.jpg

It would appear that the BJP bought acres and acres of land in Bihar till the first week of November, just before Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced demonetisation on November 8. A report by Catch News today, alleged that the BJP has bought land worth crores before announcing that Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes are no longer valid. Catch News claims to have the deeds of ten such transactions done by BJP functionaries on behalf of higher-ups in the party, including party president Amit Shah.

The report refers to Sanjeev Chaurasia, a BJP MLA who told Catch News, “Land was being bought everywhere… In other places too, along with Bihar… We are merely the signatory authority; the money came from the party… the plots were bought for building party offices and other purposes. They were bought up to the first week of November.”

According to the report, the value of the plots bought were anything between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 1.16 crore. It implicated Amit Shah, for whom property worth above Rs 60 lakh was bought in Lakhisarai, as per the report. Lal Babu Prasad (vice-chairman of BJP’s Bihar unit), Dilip Kumar Jaiswal (treasurer of BJP’s Bihar unit) and Chaurasia (who is also the general secretary of BJP’s Bihar unit) are also implicated by the report.

Bihar chief minister, Nitish Kumar and his party, Janata Dal (United), attacked the central government and the demonetisation move, and demanded that there be a Supreme Court enquiry into the matter.

Catch News has pointed to the fact that it is an open secret that illicit wealth is easily hidden in real estate.

few minor transactions are worth nothing

Would seem fishy when the buyers can't show the income on their tax records.

in the grand scheme of things a few real estate transactions does not matter
the true test for the BJP will be ten years from now - how much assets will these leaders have ?
Advani and Vajyapee were clean. Modi might be clean just because he does not have family. The real test is for rest of the crowd.

a lot of first generation Congressmen were clean in public life. as time went on power corrupted them.

More so, when Modi loses the impending war against the China.
BJP will be voted out en mass.

Sorry for that, although China doesn't want to start a war with India, but you have to know that the war cannot be stopped unilaterally, but bilaterally.

Since it is now impossible to conduct a rational conversation with your fellow countrymen anymore.

I just realized they all got plagued by Modi's fanaticism, and India will not likely withdraw nor giving any peaceful approach to solve the problem.

You can come with some candies to console my enemy above. After you loose and he leaves India.

I do not want a India-China war.
Its unthinkable that 1/3 rd of world population (2.65 billion) go against each other's throat.
Trade, not war.
As it is, if there is a war, India can not go on for more than 10-15 days without looking for a truce.
India does not have enough financing of its own, paltry 275 national revenue can only go so far.

Just one Chinese co. Sinopac earns more revenue than the entire India (government).

India has no class.

The current India government has no class, and with this kind of attitude, it will be impossible for India to reach China's league.

At least they should think more strategically, try to challenge China's position when their strength is really close to China's level.

On the other hand, if an Indian government that can bring India to China's level development and prosperity, then this will be a really diplomatically mature regime that will unlikely turn into a rogue regime like the current one.
