LAHORE - Federal Railway Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour on Saturday said that the government was purchasing new engines to fill the shortage.
Talking to media persons during a visit to the office of business train here, Bilour hoped that railway’s situation would improve over the next two years.
To a question, he said that he was proud that ANP was not among those political parties which had received money from agencies before the 1990 general elections.
He said that Economic Coordination Council (ECC) was dealing with the issue of business train.
The federal minister said that railway’s engines were being repaired.

They have floated a tender of 150 LOcos and 100 will be repaired by china,.

Is this additional plans apart from buying used engines from South Korea.

Probably the same, this guy is never sober to remember anything.

Pakistan could have tried buying used engines from Argentina they use they broad gauge like us, changing the gauge of standard to Broad gauge will be a costly affair and won't go well.

This guy should release a statement once he has 150 locomotives running only after that he should open his crooked mouth
