But the Russiagate hoax involved blaming Trump for supposedly colluding with Moscow. Who exactly would the establishment be seeking to target with this news? Hardly any of the US elites can credibly be accused of shilling for Iran, whereas Trump had a prior record of exhibiting certain sympathies for Russia.
