DUBAI: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will record statements of the Baldia Town factory owners here on Tuesday. The owners will record their statements separately at the Pakistani Consulate.
On Monday, owners Arshad Bhaila and Shahid Bhaila recorded their statements to the JIT.
The four-member investigation team, headed by DIG Muneer Sheikh and DIG Sultan Khawaja, had arrived in Dubai on Sunday to record the statements.
The owners had refused to visit Pakistan for the same as they had departed to London after the tragic incident of the factory fire – the worst in Pakistan’s history.
In 2012, over 280 people were killed when the garment factory was burnt down in the Baldia Town area of Karachi.
