ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House, Geo News reported.
According to PM House Spokesman, the army chief discussed with PM the matters pertaining to national security. The two also exchanged views to further improve internal and border security situation.
The COAS and the premier also deliberated on the government’s strategy after recent terrorist attacks in the country.
The army chief briefed PM Nawaz on action against militants in tribal areas.
Meanwhile, PM Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is chairing a high-level meeting to discuss law and order in the country.
