A resolution was tabled in the Punjab Assembly today, condemning Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accusing Pakistan of cross-border terrorism.
The resolution has strongly condemned the Indian prime minister for leveling terror allegations against Pakistan. It demanded that the new Indian government stop financial and technical assistance to terrorists in Balochistan. The resolution also called for an end to illegal occupation of Kashmir. It said that India should not misconstrue Pakistan’s goodwill gesture as weakness and hold sincere talks. However, the resolution was not allowed to have a debate.
Anti-Modi resolution submitted in Punjab Assembly

From India Today :

The Punjab Assembly of Pakistan passed a resolution on Wednesday to condemn Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accusing Pakistan of cross-border terrorism, reported Pakistani daily The Nation.

The resolution came a day after Modi and Sharif met for the first time in New Delhi. First day into his job, Modi had on Tuesday asked Sharif to clamp down on terror and fast-track trade to bridge the trust deficit between the two neighbours. Sending out a clear message to Sharif, Modi also asked him about the progress of investigations into 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

In the resolution, the Pakistan-Punjab Assembly accused the Indian government of providing help to terrorists in Balochistan province. The assembly, however, did not let the resolution be taken up as a debate.

Modi and Sharif had met on Tuesday, a day after Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister. After the meeting, Sharif had said the meeting was good and constructive.
