Air Chief reiterates to keep PAF in highest state of operational readiness
Pakistan Air Force Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman visited PAF Base Shahbaz ( Jacobabad).

Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman visited PAF Base Shahbaz ( Jacobabad) today.

The visit was undertaken with a purpose to assess the war preparedness and operational readiness of the various Squadrons and installations of the Base.

While interacting with the airmen, the Air Chief appreciated their level of motivation in performing the assigned tasks.

The Air Chief reiterated that we must remain focused and make dedicated efforts as a team to keep the Pakistan Air Force in highest state of operational readiness. He emphasized that we should make earnest efforts for the betterment and glory of our motherland.

AIR CHIEF VISITS PAF BASE SHAHBAZ


Jacobabad 05 MAY, 2015: Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force visited PAF Base Shahbaz (Jacobabad) today. Upon his arrival at the Base, the Air Chief was presented with Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out contingent. The visit was undertaken with a purpose to assess the war preparedness and operational readiness of the various Squadrons and installations of the Base.

While interacting with the airmen, the Air Chief appreciated their level of motivation in performing the assigned tasks. The Air Chief reiterated that we must remain focused and make dedicated efforts as a team to keep the Pakistan Air Force in highest state of operational readiness. The Air Chief emphasized that we should make earnest efforts for the betterment and glory of our motherland.

As mentioned before, reliable sources saying to the effect that the original requirement for 40 Block-52s, which was reduced to 18 for the time being is still outstanding, thus it needs and has to be fulfilled with either more F-16s or similar capable systems. ....let's see what transpires.

well if i am not wrong PAF will choose more F-16, block 52 over J-10b any day ...
reason could be different ..
but i believe that more 16's will work much better to buy a completely new platform ..

The package selected for the current fleet has been openly acknowledged by US commanders. Rest all depends on what operational requirements are to be addressed.
