Aftermath of ambush on Blackwater USA followed by a US assault on Fallujah in Iraq

On 31 March 2004, local Mujahideen in the Iraqi city of Fallujah ambushed a convoy containing four American private military contractors from Blackwater USA.

The four armed contractors were killed, later people set their bodies ablaze and their bodies were dragged through the streets and two were hung over a bridge crossing the Euphrates.

The event angered America and the US Marines launched an assault on Fallujah in April 2004. The Mujahideen strongly resisted the US assault.

I remember the incident very well but the "headlies" in the aftermath said those killed were engineers of various professions.
