CHAMAN: Afghan border authorities on Wednesday temporarily banned entry of passenger vehicles into Afghanistan from Chaman border, official sources said.
Pakistani border authorities have also beefed up security and vigilance along the border at Chaman Qilla Abdullah district to check cross border movements.
Afghan border officials said they had reports that suspects might enter Afghanistan whiteout being checked at the Chaman border, Amir Hussain, a Pakistani official, said and added there is no truth in the allegations levelled by Afghan border officials.
We strictly check every vehicle passing through this side of border. We have an organised system of vigilance and security at border, he added.
