MEanwhile the reality is:-
Reality is neither this nor that, but a mix of everything.
Extreme poverty as well as filthy richness, coexist within a few meters of each other.

Example - IndiGo ordered aircraft worth USD 50 billion. Even, quite a few countries can’t afford an order of this scale. Those countries might have lesser people in extreme poverty. Basically, glass is half full and empty at the same time for us.

I am happy that economy is growing and hopefully these gaps would shrink. May take a while but India is on that path.

Love to be part of that growth and India’s rising stature.

.
Is that how ya'll cope  ?
"India has a growing economy and a sizable middle class, but it also has a substantial portion of its population living in poverty. The distribution of wealth and income in India is uneven, with a significant wealth gap between the rich and the poor.

A relatively small percentage of the population can be considered "rich" or wealthy, while a larger portion of the population falls into lower-income brackets. Many people in India still struggle to access basic necessities like education, healthcare, and clean water."

And thats the case with all developing economies, and Aerocity has nothing to do with wealth or richness, it is a Central Business District, it generates lots of revenue and economic activity. It isn't some fancy shopping centre.

And you shouldn't be worrying about it, since you've got skeletons in the closet.

Maybe this report will help you better

UNDP report:

.
India has been really successful in reducing extreme poverty in the last 2 decades. Unfortunately the World bank figures below go up to 2019 . What we know from the UNDP is that the poverty reduction , THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD, has continued and gained momentum.
India has the fastest growing middle class in the world, that has attracted investment from the MNC's across the world.
They all know their future is tied to India and its middle class.

UNDP report:
So two thirds are not middle class that means 800 million are poor :rofl::rofl:

We have lot of such islands of prosperity. These buildings cost an arm and a leg to rent out. Extortionate rentals. The only ones who can rent them are overfunded startups, lala companies with black money. I wish we would make neighbourhoods of ordinary people better so that we don't have to venture out to such places. Went to a multiplex after a long time yesterday. A Pepsi cost Rs 350 and popcorn Rs 500. I didn't buy it of course.

.
All flash and no dash. For every such location there are a 1000 slums. 30-40% of Delhi lives in unorganized slums and its not like the rest of the localities are first world, and thats the capital of India so one can imagine other cities, Go 30-40 km out of Delhi to some small city in UP and you will see open drains on streets, dog and cow shit on roads, garbage all over.. total shithole. All development in India is in small neighborhoods in like maybe 10-15 cities, outside that nothing..
