Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has expressed confidence to overcome load shedding by 2018.

In an interview, he said additional 11,000 MW power through under construction power projects would be added in the system.

To a question, the minister said the government will be able to produce 7000 to 8000 MW power in any way which would enable it to bridge the gap in supply and demand.
