QUETTA – Balochistan’s higher education secretary, Abdullah Jan, who was abducted from Quetta four months ago returned home Wednesday evening.

“My father has safely reached home,” Attique Khan, Jan’s son, told DawnNews and added that his father’s physical condition was not good.

Jan was picked up by unidentified gunmen from Quetta’s Sabzal Road area on March 15 when he was on his way to work. No group claimed responsibility for his abduction.

He was kidnapped when the 6th national census was underway throughout the country and a large number of government employees, including those from the education department, were participating in the process.

It is not yet clear whether the official was recovered by security forces in an operation, or set free after payment of ransom.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Abdul Razzaq Cheema, Home Secretary Akbar Harifal and other high-level government officials visited Jan’s residence upon his return

i think this is one of kind incident ever. am i right ?

family didn't told what exactly happened with him neither the victim nor the high-level officials told what exactly happened ?
but No one claimed responsibility for his abduction and no one yet has taken the credit for his release/ rescue. STRANGE
ofcourse it is non of our business but we should know so that we can interlink with other incident easily to understand the circumstance.
