Nearly 8000 Sikh pilgrims from India and other parts of the world have arrived in Nankana Sahib, the birth place of Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Devji in Pakistan to take part in the 543rd birth anniversary celebrations.
Official sources in Pakistan said that about 8,000 Sikh pilgrims mainly from India, England, Canada, Australia, Afghanistan and other countries have reached Nankana Sahib to participate in the annual celebrations of their spiritual leader.
Local senior officials of Nankana Sahib welcomed the pilgrims on their arrival at the birth place of Guru Nanak Devji, whose birth anniversary will be celebrated tomorrow.
