44 militants, 8 commanders surrender in Balochistan (Bugti tribe)

As many as 44 militants including eight commanders of Bugti tribe have surrendered to security forces in Kashmore area of Balochistan today.

Those who laid down arms belonged to the United Baloch Army and Baloch Liberation Army.

Under the leadership of Sardar Jalalud Din Bugti, 44 extremists including eight commanders namely Sohrab Bugti, Iqbal Bugti and Ghulam Nabi Bugti laid down their arms in Kashmore Cantt.

They handed over their weapons to the armed forces including 24 Rifles, 10 Kalashnikovs, 28 magazines and rounds.

The rebel commander said that they surrendered because they wanted peace in the country.

Meanwhile Inspector-General Frontier Corps Maj-General Sher Afgan said today that India was carrying out terrorist activities in Pakistan through Balochistan where border areas are being used to supply weapons to terrorists. He said that the Afghan border was also being used to support insurgent movements.

Addressing tribal elders in Noushki, Maj-Gen Afgan said that terrorists had no third option but to either surrender or die.

He said that those giving up arms would be facilitated and every effort made for them to be brought into the national mainstream.

The Inspector-General FC said that a handful of terrorists cannot defeat the entire nation.

“The fight against terrorism is not of just the Army or Frontier Corps but of all of us,” he said, adding that Pakistan's future is connected to the welfare of Balochistan.

Now this is very positive development and good to see that these peoples are freeing themselves from the militants.

Balochistan of today is mucg better and peacefull as compared to the last 3 years.
Baloch insurgents cant do any thing but blowing pipe line and electric tower in far flung areas.

This is not enough RAW has to be answered inside our beloved neighbor India.
