Whether the brahmos is overrated or not only time will tell. The brahmos due to the heat build up may become a magnet for heat seeking missiles but dont u think the brahmos is too fast to be intercepted.It sure can be intercepted but the enemy has to fire a number of interceptors to destroy one...

I don't think they r afraid of Pakistan.According to me they are afraid that Pakistan may get overconfident due to the new wapons in the arsenal and may embark on another anti India adventure. In 65 the Pakistani establishment was very confident of defeating India with their f-86 and 104s.

The gov must use the tribals who know each and every corner of the jungle to hunt the maoist down.Each and every CRPF platoon must have atleast 3 or 4 tribals who can guide the troops and warn them of ant dangers lying ahead.

The army is not invovled in any anti maoist operation as of now.

What will the airforce do??The maoists hide in jungles.The helicopters can't even see through the thick cover of trees.

By large air force i am not particularly mentioning the air force of any country.It can be of any nation.There was a time when Russia(then USSR) threatened to obliterate Peshawar.Do u think PAF had a chance against the soviet air force.

What if u face an airforce which is much much larger than the PAF.Then u will need more planes.
