Rebranding Turkey as a third world country

I respect the AKP on that part, they are very skilled with brainwashing. I think all high ranking AKP members are getting speech training from the same person because they all talk in same manner. They also use media well of course. They can multiply the taxes, charge people for bullsh.t reasons...

Rebranding Turkey as a third world country

Turkey pulled out the Cyprus operation over four decades ago despite facing sanctions. It fielded the strongest military force in the neighbourhood and was one of the most stabile and civilized countries with a muslim majority. Hardly irrivelant. As I explained previously the economy they built...

It isnt a propaganda to say there are civilian casualties. Its bound to happen when there are still civilians in the city. But the amount of casualties and women/children proportions is likely a propaganda considering ISIS is still on control and they are the only source of estimates.

Rebranding Turkey as a third world country

Country was not industrialized. They didnt even establish a solid farming system. Economy is mostly based on tourism, trade routes and construction sector which can be taken down by even the weakest wind. If those instability kills the tourism. A lot of people will starve. It was the state...

Raqqa would require at least 10 000 soldiers on ground and thats an optimistic estimate. Its also means at least a thousand dead or wounded and tens of destroyed vehicles. Not to mention its way too far from the border. Doesnt worth. Rest of Syria is none of our concern. Turkey should not lead...

Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

Officials should stop giving out rounded up casualty numbers. It doesnt looks realistic. We killed 200 ypg, we killed 50 isis. This sounds like "We think we killed some but not sure how many". Even more suspicious considering such numbers are usually given after air or artillery strikes where...

    Oghuz Turks, Turcoman and Turkmen

Its not certain if Bleda, Rua, or Attila is definietly Turkic. But there are many other Huns that carry Turkic names. Mundzuk is indeed Turkic. Its Boncuk in modern Turkish(back in time it meant precious gem). There is a Hunnic leader named Karaton. Kara Don(read as Black clothed or Black...

Rugged terrain of Southeastern Turkey is way harsher than Afrin. Feel free to check it out. Plus Afrin is surrounded by Turkey in three sides, which gives a better movement change. We wouldnt even need to move our artillery into Syria. Whatever Assad does with Afrin is entirely depends on their...

@Kuwaiti Girl I didnt meant a solo Turkish interference. I'm fine with Assad government ruling over Afrin. But I have to remind you its the rugged terrain that Turkish army is more experienced on. We have been fighting with PKK for decades. On Manbij, if its a combined Turkish-Russian-Assad...

Usa will clearly not allow steamrolling of Kurds. I dont think that a landlocked Kurdish controlled area at the north eastern Syria is a big deal for us, as long as we have a land route to the gulf states. Not even KRG is friendly to them. But Afrin and Manbij should be quickly cleaned without...

Are those FSA? Edit: Nah they arent. Man I know its battlezone and stuff but I really hate beards on soldiers. That makes them look like common militia.

Washington is pretty much out of this scenario. They can only play through Kurds. Which I hope they dont. If they push Kurds to armed resistance for independence via sending them heavy weaponry, this bloodbath will linger.

There was a talk about simila numbers of FSA getting trained in Turkey for another operation in YPG land(Tell Abyad). If its true, it must be them. Which means that operation is cancelled.

Barzani's rule is not guarenteed. Talabani's faction is perfectly fine PKK. Barzani represents the more traditional, tribal structure of the society. He wants power for himself and his tribal allies. He dont feel much of a nationalist responsibility. But it doesnt changes the fact that a lot of...

Cant be less then 500 unless they are some kind of genetically mutated super commandos with resurrected Alexander the Great giving them tactics. Could be upto 1000 as well but I doubt it would be anymore then that.
