Can't say about comparison to Mig-21.... but yes, J7 does look a much better fighter than J-10. A nimble advice for you ... trust J-7 more than J-10 .. atleast it crashes much less. Retire J-10 .. they are no good .. better try on your next attempt. Keep J-7s so that Viets or Filipino...

Agree with all the posts above. We should act in our own self interest ... and hence decisions should be on a case by case basis. We should get into projects which make economic sense for us, suit our long term goals, give us control (e.g. if US decides to walk out later), keeps us diversified...
