Yes but AWACs will be needed to take capitalize it's potential, i've been seeing conflicting numbers online from 150km to 300km i was anteriorly of the view that it was about 150km but 300km would be too much of a hyperbole if factitious so it's certainly 250+
It uses dual pulse rocket motor...
@Mangus Ortus Novem I wonder why the old cow kept trollling that the whole initiative was simply about using facts when you already made clear literally (and between the lines) that it's withal about adopting a better attitude and diction (which really is needed), creeping senility i presume...
WVR is first of all mostly a thing of the past, A2A engagements is primarily about lock on+first shot/s, there's a thin line between proper tactics and stupidity and somehow you're talking about it as if it's a bollywood movie...gosh amazing that such a point was made on PDF in the first place
That's the worst example you could come up with, this rifle had many quandaries, jamming, spurting oil, gas issues, cracked magazines and overheating (recollect the 2005 incident) and afaik it was recently planned to be supplanted
That's why i think IQ tests should made compulsory during the...
With the current stratum of potential BVR counter measures already available and those that will be available with the block III (which are pretty decent), one would logically expect future upgrades to catch up with the requisites to be an even more dangerous interceptor against the Rafale so...
They didn't opt ramjet propulsion for the AIM-260 as well, if it's still part of their liste de plans it will most probably be in the form of another AIM 120 variant
Chill....relax....sometimes it's better to let them do it and then tag the decent mods when they're done spreading their diarrhoea with complete satisfaction, the last time one of them got a negative rating he had to beg to get it removed
Peace is possible and very likely, those who thinks...
Nice article but that part isn't too important in BVR, the biggest hindrance will be the costs and the numerical disadvantage and probably in terms of capabilities itself it will be (less than) obsolete in a couple of years compared to what the chinese shall bring on the table
@PAKISTANFOREVER...
The frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov will be probably upgraded with the Pantsir-M too

It was less than one week this time iirc :lol:
He's the first troll i came across on PDF, he was cheering for the grandpa on one of my threads, pretty pathetic move which i personally wouldn't do out of self respect but he's a good troll, he managed to irritate me for a while, credit where...
What's up with those ugly grandpas trolling and derailing the thread? First it was on @Mangus Ortus Novem 's thread and now this one...even their attempts are boring as usual, not a fan of trolling but i prefer @dharmi, he may a simp, an incel and intellectually inferior but at least he puts...
That's one of the purposes of a SAM system isn't it, anyway the official narrative is that those recent purchases are a response to Kosovo being supplied with military equiments by the US and Germany, the Su-25 is also in their line of sight
The dual mode Brimstone saw some success some years ago but the tests were pretty limited, the Navy also experimented on underwater drone swarms, it could be a potential addition to the CWIS in the long run (against boat swarms)
Having first hand experience of the capabilities and limitations enhances predictability which in turns helps in designing tactics, for example how do you think interception works?
