Australian cops joke about Indian's electrocution: Times of India

Relax, I was just having a joke - I know some Australian guys and always joke around with them about it. In fact, that's probably the most common joke that Brits make about Aussies, but that's all it is - a joke. But if it offends you that much, then I apologise. But on a more serious note...

    Turkish F-4 beat Chinese Su-27S 0:8

Does anyone know if it was the basic Su-27SK that was used? I heard these basic Flankers are fairly poor anyway - no true fire & forget BVR capability, whereas modernised F-4's can use AIM-120 and have true fire & forget BVR capability.

    Turkish F-4 beat Chinese Su-27S 0:8

China, Turkey held joint air exercise: Pentagon | TRDEFENCE I think what Jigs is saying is that these exercises (which took place on 20th Sept) were not part of Anatolian Eagle, even though they were conducted in the Anatolia region.

Australian cops joke about Indian's electrocution: Times of India

LOL - What did you expect?! Australia used to be a penal colony where the British would send all their criminal scum bags, so the first settlers in Australia were convicts and their descendants. I guess these traits must have been passed down to successive generations.

CWG: Swimmer calls Indian spectators monkeys

Given that this guy is from South Africa and South Africa's history of Apartheid, I wonder how it would be received if he said the same thing about a black crowd in his home country (or would he just use a better choice of words)?

    Outdating the neighbours..

J-10A/B and F-16 Blk 52 can be described as Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft can they not?! Depends on which neighbor you're talking about. One neighbour is already outdated compared to you. As for the other neighbor, well they already have comparable stuff to most of what's on your...

    Outdating the neighbours..

Your information is outdated. True, MKK is not comparable to MKI, but that's yesterdays news. Since then PLAAF has inducted MKK2 and J-11B. J-11B is certainly in the same ball park as MKI. Actually, Yes, as a matter of fact, they do. Not just Stealth frigates or destroyers but also...

    Outdating the neighbours..

Let the guy have his moment. He obviously doesn't realise the following things: The "neighbours" already have equivalent stuff to some of the items on the list - e.g. nuke subs, stealth frigates & destroyers, long range cruise missiles, long range SAMs, an MRCA equivalent etc etc...

USA angry about Turkey's military exercise with China

Simple. It gives PLAAF a chance to observe the performance of American planes and tactics employed by Western pilots in combat.

If the F/A 18 Super Hornet Wins the MMRCA

How? Don't you guys already claim that MKI is best, after F-22. What capabilities does SH give IAF, that you don't already have with MKI?

If the F/A 18 Super Hornet Wins the MMRCA

Silly question here, but if PAF and IAF are using the same american missiles, how does that give IAF and advantage in BVR? Another silly question, but how does 15% extra thrust give you an edge in WVR when most modern planes have HMS and OBS WVR missiles that are far more agile than any...

SHENYANG J-11D/E RENAMED TO "J-16" (With concept images)

From the front and side view it resembles a Flanker, but from the top-down view it doesn't look anything like a Flanker. So you have to ask the question, "when does a Flanker stop being a Flanker?". I think the airframe is unique enough to justify not calling it a Flanker, and thus have...

China to conquer world arms market with poor quality rip-offs

There you have it. It's not a copy since China doesn't have Lada. Having common design features is not copying either, but just good design philosophy - otherwise you might as well say PAK-FA is just a cheap copy of F-22 since they share common design features. Chinese subs are "easily...

    a New Stealth Submarine?

It looks very stealthy when fully submerged in the deep dark sea.

Is Anyway to Counter the T-50 (PAK FA) jet fighters?

India will only get around 50 examples of PAK-FA and that's probably because it will be ready sooner by a couple of years than FGFA. So with this in mind, do you really think India is a partner in PAK-FA project - for just 50 aircraft? On the other hand, India will get around 200 examples...

Is Anyway to Counter the T-50 (PAK FA) jet fighters?

How do you know, given that both planes PAK-FA and J-XX haven't gotten past the prototype stage? In terms of stealth, I'd say that both countries (Russia and China) are fairly equal since neither country has had any experience in stealth design shaping.

Is Anyway to Counter the T-50 (PAK FA) jet fighters?

What, so the Russians helped design the JH-7A, JF-17 and J-10A/B????? And they did this knowing full well that once the Chinese have these, they won't by Russian planes such as MiG-29/35 etc?????

Is Anyway to Counter the T-50 (PAK FA) jet fighters?

Learn the difference between PAK-FA and FGFA. PAK-FA was being developed by Sukhoi for Russian air force since 2002. Indians came onto the scene in 2007 and what they're paying for is FGFA - a derivative of PAK-FA. So while China will never get FGFA, I'm sure it's still entirely up to...

Is Anyway to Counter the T-50 (PAK FA) jet fighters?

Maybe not the twin engined heavy fighters, but the speculation is that the J-XX program may include a lighter, single-engine fighter for export.

Russia Lists PAK FA export countries

If that's the case then Russia shouldn't sell this to anyone because there will always be a way for either USA or China to examine its capabilities.
