U.S. Navy-China showdown: Chinese try to halt U.S. cruiser in international waters

I don't have any problem with US navy ships sailing around China's coast, but as you admit yourself if you are being an a$$hole about it, then don't expect to get a kind response in return.

U.S. Navy-China showdown: Chinese try to halt U.S. cruiser in international waters

Soviet Frigate ram USS Caron was the last resort of their action after numerous warning even with locked on by Soviet's fire control rader, but the USS Caron kept going inside of Soviet territory water. The reason I mention this incident is because it seems if you want to stop the harrassment...

Hypothesis: Hypothesis: Should China sell J-8II H/F to N. Korea to replace gaining Fleet

As you said in the past, but now DPRK became a pain in the a** even for China. In reality China has better tiers with ROK than DPRK now.

U.S. Navy-China showdown: Chinese try to halt U.S. cruiser in international waters

Also technically speaking there is something called stalking, and it is what can be the prefectly discription of what USA was doing. If this is any civil case, it is prefectly normal to file a restrain order legally.

Republic of China Army shows off newly acquired Apache AH-64E choppers

This is what I don't get, ROC got thos AH-64 for its anti tank landing operation, but if PLA is able to land tank on the shore of ROC, that means they already have the control of air. Then what is the chance of those AH-64 actually have to actually survive in the first place.

U.S. Navy-China showdown: Chinese try to halt U.S. cruiser in international waters

Sure, US Destroyer's constant bearing just happened to be on the same path of Liaoning CV, and th PLAN LST should move out of the way so it could have a better look at the PLAN's carrier operation. As for your claim of USN has some kind of respect for boundries, do you remember USS Caron...

U.S. Navy-China showdown: Chinese try to halt U.S. cruiser in international waters

As you said yourself, it take quite distance for a ship to stop. It is not like the PLAN LST magically appeared and stopped right in front of it, the US ship knows where the LST was heading and did not change course or take any action until the LST stopped in front of it. This game of Chicken...

U.S. Navy-China showdown: Chinese try to halt U.S. cruiser in international waters

If this is reversed. Let's say a PLAN destroyer is tailing closely to an USN CVBG 100 nm away from (forget about mainland USA) the coast of Hawaii, don't tell me that no measure will be taken by the USN.

Chinese aircraft carrier has major weaknesses: China Youth Daily

The problem here is this 1 ton reduction here is not significant enough to make a difference here, because this is not just about the difference in acceleration where the weight increase can be offset by the increase in the force linearly. It is lift force we are talking about. 2L(lift...

Chinese aircraft carrier has major weaknesses: China Youth Daily

From Russia's experience with Kuznetsov class carrier, taking off using ski jump by aircraft with takeoff weight exceeding some 26 tons is very difficult. The empty weight of J-15 already 17.5 tons, and its full fuel load is 9.5 tons. Yes, it might be able to launch with ski jump with full...

Chinese aircraft carrier has major weaknesses: China Youth Daily

Without catapult, the combat effectiveness of J-15 is indeed very limited. That is why some Indian members keep thinking that J-15 is only able to carry 2000 kg of weapon. Let me add here using ski jump to launch J-15 it could not carry full load of its fuel too, which will limit its combat...

U.S. top officer backs stronger military ties with China

You are wrong here, ever since WW II or more precisely after 1949, all the rifts between PRC and Japan are one way or another caused by US of A. Ask yourself this: Who gave Japan control of Diaoyu Islands/Senkaku Islands and put it under the protection of Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and...

China's Renewable Energy to Outpace U.S., E.U. and Japan Combined

I thought we are talking about renewable energy here, this chemical process isn't reversible without additional process which require additional energy, and this definitely isn't how fuel cell works.

The girl with no identity: Being a second child in China

I assumed that we are all educated people here, and somehow no one see the real problem in this case. This is rather the fault of the irresponsible parents rather than the fault of one child policy. This second child can have all the benefits of education and health care if the parents just...
