Moral decline of Thailand -Thai "ladyboy" flight attendants take to the ski

Hmm.. I wouldn't say that. The tsunami affected Aceh - Indonesia the worse, and they're pretty religious people. Even the Northern states of Malaysia was lightly brushed by the tsunami, and I can assure you there are not much homos here. Natural disasters don't choose their victims.

World’s longest sea bridge is currently under construction

Awesome eh? :D The last time I paid a visit to Hong Kong, to get to Macau, I had to take a ferry. Strongly considering a visit to the bridge once it's completed. Should be fascinating. I might need to borrow your car though, CD :P

Moral decline of Thailand -Thai "ladyboy" flight attendants take to the ski

Pay one visit to Phuket or Bangkok and you'll realise the place is as homo as it gets  Can't disagree with thread title though, Thailand (Phuket - sex capital of South East Asia) of today is morally corrupted which is surprising considering I always thought they had a strong Buddhist...

Japanese prime minister to visit China

We have forgiven the Japanese for their mistakes in WW2, but we'll never forget. I hope the Chinese have that in mind too. But anyway, past is past. I hope East Asian countries can work together to shift the economic power-balance to our side. With Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, China...

Learn from China: Malaysian ex-PM tells India

I said his recent statements as in the OTHER statements he has made recently have all been crazy. He's been talking about some mock trial for Bush and Blair for their supposed war crimes around the world, when there are a lot more pressing matters in Malaysia. I agree with this statement of...

Learn from China: Malaysian ex-PM tells India

If that's what you feel is best for your country, I respect that. Who said I agree with China a 100%? Every country has it's flaws, no one is perfect. Even India has it's flaws. But more than anything else, I really admire East Asia's economic performance (China, Singapore, Hong Kong)...

Learn from China: Malaysian ex-PM tells India

Don't blame me, I come from Malaysia where Kuala Lumpur is basically the whole of Asia fit into a city  Even New York City or London has a more racially diverse mix than any city in India.

Choose one. Voting rights or far better standard of living for you and your family? But of course, having both would be ideal. But conditions in China are no where as bad as being described here. The police knocking on the door is a 1970's story, mate

Learn from China: Malaysian ex-PM tells India

I have been to India a couple of times including a backpacking trip to South and North India. I know how "diverse" your country is. Personally, I don't find the people as diverse as being said here. India is a uniquely beautiful place though, I'll not deny that.

Relax. At the end of the day, you would know better about your country than I would. I'm just giving suggestions. Don't know what extra freedom you have compared to the Chinese though.

Learn from China: Malaysian ex-PM tells India

I've been to India before. You're a country of many languages, many castes but one race. You're all Indian race. Malaysia is a country of many languages, religion and races. But perhaps you're right. It's a very different scenario. Especially the population and size of the country...

Learn from China: Malaysian ex-PM tells India

With education of the masses, people will stop grouping themselves according to races. Much like they way all Americans view themselves as Americans despite their diverse background. It's ok to be proud of your race, but using it as a pretext of division of the country isn't the best way...

Learn from China: Malaysian ex-PM tells India

Ridiculous logic. Malaysia is a multi-racial society with quite a number of minority Chinese and Indians. We are more diversed than India. Everyone will have their rights in a centralized government if they consider themselves Malaysian first, above anything else.
