There is no shame in admitting though, that the British did a good job at developing Hong Kong while they were there. My first visit to Hong Kong was at 1994, at that time, the city of Hong Kong was far more advanced than any city in mainland China.

Indonesians, historically, have been very moderate laid-back people. But recently there has been a slow rise of extremism in the region. If this goes uncheck, the situation could turn potentially explosive. The Indonesians are in for interesting times ahead.
