When INS Vikrant (R11) gave nightmare to Pakistan's Navy!

sure, vikrant is too far to be considered, I was talking about CBG with vikramaditya as center piece, I have already mentioned that in previous posts.

When INS Vikrant (R11) gave nightmare to Pakistan's Navy!

please at follow the previous posts before commenting.it's not about radar range but about curvature of earth, if the ship was on sky at 450km distance your AWAC would detect it.

Should be a pair of each(7-9) ships Or even more as per threat perception and strategies. *

When INS Vikrant (R11) gave nightmare to Pakistan's Navy!

Check my reply to gentleman..and don't forget that we too have other air assets like jaguar in large numbers for taking care of surface ships as well as ground targets. I doubt Paf can bring in f16 since it has to take on iaf mig 29, mirage, and mki's,if you can draw some then we can also do...

When INS Vikrant (R11) gave nightmare to Pakistan's Navy!

:hitwall: reaching near carrier means reaching near " weapon range", before it reach weapon range, it has to go evade, or engage numerous other CBG platforms, weapons, and systems. Submarine launched Babur is not anywhere near induction, so talk about systems which are under operational...

so what if it detects mig29k ? mig's are any way is there for combat, and protect surface ships and it can hold on against jf17. as for directing submarines towards the rough location, these submarines must go through, Indian submarines, frigates and destroyers, anti submarines helicopters,p8i...

even with your sab Erieye air to sea/ground detection is not limited by radar range, but by the curvature nature of earth, that's why it can't see ground targets beyond 350km distance.

check the link I have posted for my argument, as for US navy and IN, I did not compare both navy's as a whole but just pointed out the fact that USN operate at a distance from 370km(distance can changes with mission, formation, threat perception etc, it's not a set distance) with comparatively...

When INS Vikrant (R11) gave nightmare to Pakistan's Navy!

135 km(targeting range will be 80%-85% of that ), that's detection range for klj7 radar. now for Erieye, again it has to come 350km for detection, which is impossible because of mig29k, so jf17 will be engaging mig29 on the sky far in front of carrier, it's possible that other front line...

When INS Vikrant (R11) gave nightmare to Pakistan's Navy!

China in case of China our aircraft carrier will be positioned more defensively as they are a superior enemy, (not because of DF21 which is yet to hit a moving naval target, test fires were against fixed target) but because of their numerous sub,air force, and anti ship missiles etc...

When INS Vikrant (R11) gave nightmare to Pakistan's Navy!

who says carrier can't operate from 500 km distance ? if US navy can operate their CBG From 370km distance with comparatively short legged super hornets, then Indian can afford to stay further away with greater range capable mig29k.jf17 has to come near 130km to target the carrier, your Erieye...

Fifteen Indian Inventions and Discoveries That Shaped the Modern World

Hariprasad, we need to own up the responsibility for our own misdeeds, passing the buck to Islam will not help, in Rigvedic period women had more or less equal statues, but in the later periods statues of women declined in the society.
