I sincerely hope sanity prevails and people on both sides make responsible decisions. Nuclear war will be a very bad decision. Maybe a few dogfights between F-16 and Su-30 should cool down tempers on both sides.Right now the jury is out. Lets see what happens.
Pakistan has as much right to use nuclear technology as any other country. Making India a member of NSG would give it access to nuclear technology while denying us. This is going to be a highly unfair and biased decision. How can than we develop our nuclear industry. What do you say to that ...
This will make the world more unstable if India is made a member of Nuclear Supplier Group and Pakistan is left out. Nuclear Supplier Group members should keep this in mind.
Tests like this make the whole nation proud. If the Navy is keeping the identity of the missile secret then it must be for a good reason. Our enemies won't be able to plan countermeasures.
Very good photos. It is a place worth visiting. I have been there many times. I once hiked from Chilam Chauki to Skardu in four days and crossed all the icy cold rivers on foot. Now there are bridges on the rivers but it is still worth a visit. preferably in summer.
If Thailand can make these boats, then so can we. Our sea shore line needs plenty of these crafts for defence. I am sure our naval planners will be giving such ideas serious thought.
Trains travelling at around 160 km/hr in our Pakistan. That would mean travel time of around 10 to 12 hours from Peshawar to Karachi. This will eliminate sleeper class from our trains. With Chinese help it is possible. I would love to travel in one of those trains.
This is an interesting news. Pakistani market is dominated by Japanese car manufacturers. Do the French have what it takes to compete with the Japanese. That is something we have got to see. Besides will they make cars which are suitable for our roads. If the introduction of French cars forces...
I think it is high time we should move to a low gear relationship with US regarding buying US equipment. The threat of sanctions is always there. Self reliance should be the new name of the game. Besides US equipment is very expensive and it sucks our defence budget like a vacuum cleaner.
It looks like a pressure tactic by Indian biased lobby just ahead of our army chief's visit. It won't carry much weight. It is a good thing that there are a lot of rational, responsible and pragmatic people in US government. So we don't have to worry about this think tank.
Yes we should have the most suitable equipment for our planes.
Who says it is poor quality. It is not poor quality but appropriate quality for now. We will improvise and move forward as the requirements change in future.
I guess a lot of people have misread the thread. It's about repair and maintenance of engines and not technology transfer. By the time we know repair and maintenance, Chinese engines will come on line. We will not waste money on a wild goose chase which you will try to sabotage. You may have...
