I simply cannot see the detterence capability of SPADA, with only 20 - 25 km hit range... during the high mark firepower demo, a mirage hit the target pin point from 60 km away, and thats getting normal for strike missions, striking from far away, these short ranged systems become worthless...

Very right, its surprising that a potent weapon in shape of long range missile in our inventory is the oldie goldie SA-2.... A good long range SAM is a pain in any pilots neck...... thats why the s-300 deal btwn russia n iran is so much criticized by west.... it changes the whole battle dynamics..
