It's not a conspiracy theory, cross-border pollution is a real thing and Indian factories and power plants near Pakistani borders are emitting emission which are affecting the environment, it may not be deliberate
I don't agree with dividing Punjabis into smaller groups by naming ethnicities after dialects; Hindko,Seraiki & Pahari/Potohari are all very close to Mahji, and I don't even speak Mahji fluently yet understand all other dialects.
In Karachi, all Seraikis,Hindkowans,Paharis & Mahji Punjabis band...
I've heard of there similarities with hazarewals and people of potwar region and the hilly areas of Punjab.
I know zain malik is mirpuri, lots of people from Azad Jammu live in UK
I thought they were called gujjars or something, the ethnic make up of ajk seems very diverse and complex.
So these people are linguistically same as other people from kotli, poonch etc but there culture, attire, and way of life looks similar to Pashtuns
Beautiful place, I went to school with some guys from neelam, they were cool people.
PS what's the main ethnicity in Neelam valley?, they look different from ppl of mirpur and kotli etc
Looks like the govt read my comment, but I don't think they'll act on this, they will keep 'mulling' over this idea until the monsoons come
Where do you live?
Not in Karachi, we've been in a drought since last 3 years, we get little rain every few months.
NASA says this year will be even drier in south sindh
It's cause of ramzan
Why can't the govt send some jets in the air for cloud seeding, which could cause rain -a lot of countries do this, especially China and the GCC states
And this is our national sport.
What a shame, the govt won't do anything, maybe some wealthy Pakistanis in Europe can chip in some money to pay their expenses out of goodwill and a concern for Pakistani hockey
If the government cared they would induced artificial rain like many other countries to give some respite from the heat and break the years long drought which is gonna get worse according to NASA
But alas, as they the saying goes 'nobody owns Karachi'
Even the air conditioners are...
What's the point of this, of course soon after Pakistan's independence from the British we inherited many institutions from them like India with their personnel including army and many institutions and agencies are founded by them but now it's completely indigenous
