I think India needs a better understanding of when to retire certain aircraft and also induct others. The crash rates still seem to be very high compared to other air forces. Especially NATO countries.

Nearly 10,000 workers protesting in Ankara on Thursday were pushed back with water cannons and pepper spray, a move the opposition said ran counter to the government’s call for a peaceful response to demonstrators in Egypt...
I can see us using this for R&D for our LPD project. Maybe even a operational training ship.
However i would like to wait for more info on this matter before speculating any further.
It is as a battery not as one vehicle.
A SAMP/T battery includes: command and control vehicle, Arabel radar and up to six Transporter Erector Launcher (TEL) vehicles, each with eight missiles and a store of reload missiles.
So actually 6x8=48 missiles and the system can launch 16 of them...
MBDA Aster 30 SAMP/T. They are offering full tech and it is also a nato compatible system. So they fit our needs the best i believe.
The system can intercept BMs with 600km range . The missiles can engage targets at 120kms. System can track 100 targets and engage 16 at once.
If the Chinese...
It would put weight behind the offer if they did. We should pick the tender winner in the next SSİK meeting. Currently we are still evaluating the submissions.
We have the capability (both in shipyards) and (Local defense companies) To build modern AWW Frigates/Destroyers. We have a program currently in the works to do so. The Milgem from the picture was our corvette project and as you can see it is on par with any similar modern platform out there...
Chinese have not said anything about tech transfer of the HQ-9 if they are offering us their export version we might as well pick the Russian offering at that point. MBDA however has offered tech transfer. MBDA also is not a french company but more of a joint European establishment with...

Possibly. Even if we say did have access to the 40 and 50s we are not at such a capability to integrate anything into these as of yet that is a upgrade to say choosing the CCIP upgrade.
We must balance being self efficient without compromising integration of the latest technologies. Only when...
The source codes are limited and that may not come with the F-35. Like cabatli said only F-4s we have full access to do whatever we want on. There are still limitations on F-16s.
We are not investing 11 billion that is to buy the aircraft. Which have since jumped to 14-15 billion for our order. Also the tech transfer will be similar to what we got with the F-16. Some parts production and being a international supplier to U.S. companies for F-35 parts. F-35 like the F-16...
They are scale models i doubt any kid would even be able to put one of these together. I think they are quite cool. The detail is great on them.
