When they started the arty fire our T-155 were right out in the open and could be filmed from the Syrian border.
Though I've also seen some pictures with ''natural'' defenses used to cover up vehicles a bit.
Better to have these ATGM issues now and hope they wake up. As hard as it sounds to say...
He's talking about T-129EDH vs T-129B, EDH = 20mm gun and 70mm hydra, released early and will be updated to B later on. This version will include stinger, umtas/cirit (don't know if we're interested in tow or hellfire) and is the ''full'' version as intended.
In the future there might be a...
Question, this TSA program is a replacement for the TOW carrying M113/ACVs right? Is this a natural development or was it influenced by recent developments in Ukraine and the general M-E? What made them also selected a wheeled variant aka high mobility ATGM teams?
Also is there a reason they're...
We use M60T in N. Iraq, and in Yuksekova. Aka increased ATGM threat.
But on Syrian border and general southeast there still are M48 and M60s, am I the only one thinking about this? Instead of Iraq it might as well happen vs an not-upgraded tank at an outpost.
Is it me or are the hesco barriers way too low/insufficient? Draws my attention every time I see it. I know it's a small cop thing and not the actual base but still...
Keep in mind the tank was hit where the armor was it's heaviest I think (not a tank expert).
Better question to ask is how it...
Last week we saw activity in Mus/Varto including 'regional' leader being captured. I recall reading that this place is easy to reach from countryside despite winter.
Yesterday they tried to infiltrate via Silvan countryside but got caught by attack heli's and F-16s. Again size of group is 15-22...
Slat armor on ZMA looks interesting. Any reason why there is such a space in the front?
Finally seeing it on the field after years of waiting brings a tiny bit of relief.
Yeah lol, you know our media... Hence why I thought it could be potential balon haber. I checked the orange list but couldn't see that guys name for example. But this is like the Xth time UAVs are being mentioned in Tunceli and there were a lot of smaller groups operating there from hide-outs...
I've seen two types of armor, one is the above ''soft'' one and the other seems harder but still no metal bars like with the Tunisian Kirpi. I think the second one is solely for the METI teams.
