Myanmar Air Force - air order of battle

Well, Myanmar (or Burma if you prefer), is sourcing aircraft from Russia, China, Germany, USA and other countries too. Bangladesh is leaning towards Russia for aircaft lately. Any additions or corrections to the order of battle itself? Surely there are more 'watchers' of this country out here? :-)

Pakistan's Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircrafts

#062 Saab 2000 formerly SE-LTU was ferried from Sweden through Romania to Pakistan yesterday. That is the third Saab 2000 delivery this year. Of course, these are 'bare' aircraft, not AEW&C (yet).

Pakistan Army Aviation Corps - Updated

There is a US sollicitation issued for a prolonged storage and preservation of the three AH-1Z finished products until at least early 2019. So there will be no AH-1Z delivery imminent; unless the US government changes its policy. Refer Oscar's post with the link to the source information.

Pakistan Army Aviation Corps - Updated

The CTS800 engine is made by an Anglo-US consortium (Rolls Royce and Honeywell). So Honeywell should likely need to seek export clearance from the US government if this deal goes ahead. As I may have mentioned before in this thread. If the Americans want to play it a bit dirty, they forbid...

AH-1Z Viper, 1000 Hellfire II Missiles approved for sale to Pakistan.

Have not seen any evidence of Mi-35 being in Pakistan, recent satellite images in the public domain do not show them on any of the army bases. They are likely handed over to PAA at Thorzok for training Pakistani crews. But that should be finished shortly. No doubt they will appear shortly.

Pakistan Army's T-129 ATAK Helicopter Deal | Updates & Discussions.

So Uncle Sam (or in this case Mister Trump) can veto the engines. And at the same time he can give Bell Helicopter the green light for more AH-1Z. What would you do in his position...? (apart from resigning from office ;-))
