Pakistan's increased interest in Russia could be fueled by the US' denial of F16s to Pakistan.
Russia could be throwing a bone to Pakistan to generate increased interest from India, which then could be leveraged to damage US-India ties.
Pakistan could be feigning interest in Russian products...
We need something that's on par with S400 or at least something capable of countering it somewhat.. Chinese SAMs currently, the ones we have, are no where near that benchmark.
S300 to S400. Any other would be useless really. S 300 is fine.. Pakistan's also looking into the Chinese HQ-9 so high hopes everywhere. At the end of the day Pakistan stands to get some sort of an SAM.

Pakistan seems to be kicking it up a notch with Russia... Let's hope all this pans out.

Well, generally, if you're looking at public donations, the more attention it gets the more donations, at least that's the assumption. Indian media not reporting it doesn't make sense at all.
Also, if this news is in fact true, as the gentleman pointed out that donations may only be needed in...
Does it need to be covered by Indian media to be true?
It's not like Indian media is the most respectable when it comes to journalism :P But then again, whose is?
It's been nearly 7 decades man.. Pakistan, against all odds, is still standing.. Also, if "US evidence" are the sort of threat Indo-US alliance poses, we really don't have much to worry about.
The evidence presented is a joke! After all this time, for a mighty super power to present such an evidence is not only disgusting, it's embarrassing! Sigh!
